What this site is
ToolstoIndia is an independent directory of AI tools, a library of practical tutorials, and a jobs board for AI roles. We publish 60 tool reviews, 25 tutorials, a prompt library, an AI glossary and a job feed updated every six hours.
The site exists because most AI coverage is either a press release or a thirty-second demo. Neither tells you what a tool is like to use on a Tuesday afternoon when you have a deadline.
How we review
Every tool is used for real work before it is written about. A review is not published until we have run at least one genuine task through the product, hit its limits, and looked at what it costs to keep using.
Ratings weigh four things: what the tool can actually do, what it costs relative to alternatives, how reliable it is in ordinary use, and whether it solves a problem better than a general assistant already does. That last criterion fails a lot of products.
Every review states the downsides explicitly, because the downsides are the part you need before you subscribe. If a tool is not worth paying for, we say so.
How we make money
Three ways, all disclosed:
- Advertising. We show ads on some pages. Advertisers have no influence over what we write, and no advertiser sees a review before publication.
- Affiliate links. Some links to vendors may earn us a commission. These never affect a rating, a ranking or whether a downside gets mentioned. Where a link is commercial it carries a sponsored attribute.
- The newsletter. Free, and we do not sell the list.
We do not accept payment for inclusion in the directory, for a higher rating, or for removal of criticism. If a vendor asks, that request is itself worth writing about.
Accuracy and corrections
Pricing and features in this category change constantly. Every review carries the date it was last checked. We re-verify pricing periodically, but the vendor's own site is always the authority — check it before you buy.
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the correction. That includes job listings that have closed or were never real.
About the jobs board
Listings are aggregated from publicly available company feeds and job boards, deduplicated, and linked directly to the employer's own application page. We never charge candidates, never collect CVs, and never sell candidate data. Salary figures are shown exactly as the employer published them.
Editorial independence
No vendor, advertiser or employer gets to review content before it is published. Where we have a commercial relationship with a company we write about, it is disclosed on the page.
Who writes here

Reviews and analysis
ToolsForAI is written by practitioners rather than analysts. The people writing about coding assistants use them daily on production codebases; the person writing about voice tools has recorded and edited with them; the jobs coverage comes from reading several thousand AI job listings a month through our own ingestion pipeline.
We do not review tools we have not used. Where a niche falls outside our direct experience, the review says so rather than implying expertise we do not have.
