Privacy Policy

This site is built so that there is very little to collect. Nothing you type into a calculator ever leaves your browser.

The short version

This site is built so that there is very little to collect. There are no accounts, no logins, no contact forms and no newsletter.

Everything you type into a calculator — salary, loan amount, date of birth, income — is processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted to us. There is no server that receives it, so there is nothing for us to store, lose or disclose.

What we do not collect

  • Anything you enter into a calculator or converter.
  • Your name, address, phone number, PAN, Aadhaar number or bank details — we never ask for them.
  • Account credentials, because there are no accounts.
  • Search queries typed into the site search, which is executed in your browser against an index shipped with the page.
  • Uploaded documents, because there is nowhere to upload one.

What is collected automatically

Like any website, this site is served over the internet, and that involves some technical data being handled by the infrastructure that delivers it.

  • Standard server and hosting logs, which may include IP address, browser type, referring page and the time of the request. These are handled by our hosting provider for security and reliability, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.
  • Aggregated analytics, where enabled, to understand which pages are useful. Any analytics used is configured to avoid collecting personally identifying information.
  • Advertising network data, described in the next section.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies of its own for tracking or personalisation. It does not use browser storage to remember you between visits.

Where third-party advertising is served, the advertising network may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure advertisements. That processing is carried out by the network under its own privacy policy.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. The calculators on this site work with all cookies blocked.

Third-party services

Third-party services process data under their own privacy policies. Where advertising is served by Google, you can review and change what is used for personalisation in your Google Ad Settings.

Third-party services
ServiceWhen it is usedWhat it receives
Frankfurter (European Central Bank reference rates)Only on the currency converter pageA request for published exchange rates. No personal data and no amount you entered is sent — the conversion happens in your browser.
Hosting providerEvery page requestStandard technical request data, including IP address, needed to deliver the page.
Google AdSenseOn pages showing advertisementsAdvertising identifiers and cookies set by Google, subject to Google’s own privacy policy and your ad settings.

Children

This site is a general-audience information site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children — there is no mechanism through which we could.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing held about you to access, correct, export or delete.

If you have written to us by email, that correspondence exists in our mailbox. You can ask us to delete it by writing to Supportbreakouttrade@gmail.com, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

For data held by third parties — an advertising network, for example — those requests need to go to that party, since they are the controller of it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with security headers set, including protections against content-type sniffing and clickjacking. Pages are statically generated, which removes a large class of vulnerability by having no database or dynamic backend to attack.

No system is perfectly secure. The most meaningful protection here is architectural: we do not hold your personal data, so a breach of this site could not expose it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — for example if advertising is enabled, or a new third-party service is introduced — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Significant changes will be described rather than silently applied.
