How to check your result

  1. For MPSC examinations, go to mpsc.gov.in and open the Results section.
  2. For Class 10 and 12 State board results, use the official result portal announced by the Maharashtra State Board, linked from mahahsscboard.in.
  3. Enter the details asked for — seat number and mother’s first name for board results, or registration number for MPSC.
  4. Save the result immediately. State board result servers are heavily loaded on result day.
  5. For departmental recruitment, check the MahaIT portal or the recruiting department’s page on maharashtra.gov.in.

MPSC results and transparency documents

  • MPSC publishes the result, the answer key, and category-wise cut-off marks for its examinations.
  • The answer key is usually released with a short window for objections, on payment of a fee per question.
  • Final recommendation lists are published separately from stage-wise results.
  • Note that the MPSC examination pattern has been revised in recent years, so cut-offs from earlier cycles are not directly comparable.

State board results

Maharashtra Class 10 results are referred to as the SSC result and Class 12 as the HSC result in State usage — which is a different SSC from the Staff Selection Commission, a genuine source of confusion when searching online.

The board announces the specific result portal shortly before the result date. Follow the announcement on mahahsscboard.in rather than an old bookmark, as the portal address has changed between years.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the MPSC result published?
On mpsc.gov.in, in the Results section, along with answer keys and category-wise cut-off marks. Objections to the answer key can be raised during a short window on payment of a fee per question.
Where do I check the Maharashtra Class 10 or 12 result?
On the official result portal announced by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, linked from mahahsscboard.in. You will need your seat number and, usually, your mother’s first name.
Why is the Maharashtra Class 10 exam called SSC?
In Maharashtra and several other States, the Class 10 examination is called the Secondary School Certificate examination, abbreviated SSC, and Class 12 is the Higher Secondary Certificate or HSC. This is unrelated to the Staff Selection Commission, which shares the abbreviation and causes frequent confusion in search results.
Where are Maharashtra departmental recruitment results published?
On the MahaIT portal for recruitment conducted through it, or on the recruiting department’s own page linked from maharashtra.gov.in. Check the notification you applied under to see which applies.
